Using a fraction of your brain
Project Description
This project revolves around fractions but to be specific we try to answer the question "What fraction of your brain do you use?". We were working in pairs to produce a pictograph that show a demonstration of the four operations in a diagram e.t.c multiplication, addition, subtraction and division. In this project we are completing various pages on echo that will be assessed.

Personal Contributions to the Project:
I contributed to the project by finishing the two and a half men assessment as I was able to submitt it online during the time period of the due date. I also contributed by finishing my part of the fractions project which was with my partner I chose for my fractions project which was Nicholas Kretsavos. I also contributed by doing my part which is the bottom 2 images in which I focused on addition and division.
Personal Reflection on what was Learnt:
Throughout the project we learnt about what is a fraction and the properties, symbols and the meanings behind them such as the numerator and denominator and how the line separating them mean to divide. We also learnt about equivalent fractions and how fractions can be simplified into the simplest form. After, we learnt about the different types of fractions which were proper fractions which is a fraction that has a denominator larger than the numerator. An improper fraction which is a fraction with a numerator bigger than the denominator and a mixed fraction which is a whole number with a proper or improper fraction.
Demonstrations of 21st century skills:
The project "Using a fraction of your brain" demonstrates various 21st century skills such as collaboration as we had to work with a partner to build on each other's ideas, helping each other out when in struggle as well as learning from each other. Another demonstration of a 21st century skill is communication as we also had to communicate with our partner to assign each of our roles and to most importantly communicate to the teacher to ask for clarification or to ask questions when in need or when in a struggle.
